Waggy in Japan.
Into reception the fearsome two adventured, met by the manager and receptionist, We had our first toiling conversation with our hosts off the next month. 10 minutes in I noticed a vending machine in the corner. Well a couple off tinnies later "check in" was complete.

To our rooms we went, singles due too the snoring factor on both sides. A quick shower and uniform in place, England reversible, slacks and sambas. We set-off for the stadium. The manager gave me a map in Japanese - "very useful!".

Five trains later and kick-off now only 90 minutes away, we were lost in the maze off jr. trains. Not one England fan had we seen, in a hour of travelling.

Ah a saviour was spotted, a fellow soccer fan wearing a Mexico shirt, Did he know the way? "YES", he was ticketless but very confident of getting a ticket, He obviously had never been to England game before. Soon we were in the direction of the ground, at the last train station there were special buses to take the fans to the ground.

Onto the bus we went, still no England fan in sight but two lovely Japanese girls entered the bus - soon we were chatting. The bus filled up and off we went. Ten minutes later we arrived, Cardiff, Old Trafford and Ewood eat your heart out. The Saitama stadium was magnificent.

Hey presto! We had found the other 15,000 England fans, pictures were took with the pretty Japanese girls and off to the ground we went. Strict security meant I had to leave my knife, crash helmet, explosives and hammer at the gate! Through 123 security checks we went.

"Connichewhy" - Japanese for "hello" was the word for today.

Into the stadium we went, up the steps and ...................
