Waggy in Japan.
When me and my travelling companion arrived at the customs area, a plane from Croatia had just arrived and all the immigration officials were busy looking for warlords etc, We were waved through, passport stamped and at Japan we had arrived.

Our bags took a while to locate, as several other flights had arrived after ours. Once found we went to the information desk to find out train times etc, we foolishly asked the price of a taxi. This, we were told, would be £8 to £10, not bad but weren't we told taxi's were expensive?

Anyway the foolish twosome jumped in the taxi Tokyo bound. Sky Court Hotel, Kiowa next stop. The meter went round and round, the meter went round and round. Through toll gates we went 1,2,3,then the 4th,the driver stopped asked directions,10,000 yen,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,000 the meter rolled round.

Eventually we game to a halt, right next to a railway station was our hotel.

The taxi fare came to a massive £130 and it was 2.30 pm, 4hrs to kick-off. With a hangover kicking in bed is what I need.................................tune in tomorrow for the next instalment.
