England

England face the tough task of Germany in Group A but the other two teams - Romania and Turkey are not to be forgotten.

England have a good side, balancing experience in Shearer, Adams and Campbell with youth in Owen, Phillips and Rio Ferdinand.

Even though many of England's club teams have won honours in Europe, England haven't been a major force in this competition so far. We finished third back in 1968 and lost on penalties to the Germans in the semi-finals in 1996 but hopefully this time, Kevin Keegan will pick a squad to go all the way.
