The ground has been home to R. Charleroi for nearly 100 years but it is only recently that it has been developed. Over the past two years, three stands have been built taking the capacity to 30,000. It stands out in the city because they are shaped like a pyramid. After Euro 2000, the capacity will decrease because the roofs of the main stands will be lowered.
