Kinas Kinas is the mascot for Euro 2004 and he symbolises football’s passion and energy. The name Kinas originates from the five shields symbol on Portugal’s coat of arms. These shields symbolise the five defeats of the Moor rulers by D. Afonso Henriques, the first Portuguese king.

Kinas was born with the knowledge of all great footballers, past and present. He used to astonish his friends with his footballing ability. However he never let his incredible skills go to his head and his hard working approach to training made him a delight to work with.

Kinas personifies the enthusiasm, skill, determination and sense of fun that make football the greatest sport on earth.
